Mobile phone usage is subject to your standard network charges only. You need your mobile phone to be enabled for either GPRS or WAP access in order to use Mobi-Mail services on your mobile phone.

Q... what is the difference between GPRS and WAP?

A....With GPRS your mobile can stay connected to Mobi-Mail all day without charge. Your mobile phone network provider only charges for the volume of characters that you download (read) or upload (send). So you can take as long as you want to scroll and read your emails or Mobi-Mail menus. There is no charge for the time you are connected. Is like Braodband access whereas WAP is like timed dial-up access.

With WAP your mobile phone network provider charges according to the time you are online.

Q.... Can I set up Mobi-Mail using a mobile phone only?

A....Once set-up you only need a mobile phone to use Mobi-Mail. However to Register and set spam filters you must use a PC or laptop with internet access to receive your Account ID by email and to personlise set-up information.

Q.... How much will my mobile phone provider charge me for GPRS?

A....GPRS set-up if free and usually completed online. The service provider will send an SMS to you mobile phone to enable GPRS functioning. GPRS is cheaper than WAP and a session typical costs from 4p to 10p depending on the quantity and size of emails you read.
